An introductory event from Bristol Health Partners’ Psychosis Health Integration Team to explore the spiritual, religious and cultural aspects of psychosis.
This free event is for anyone with experience of psychosis, their families and networks, and those working with them in all kinds of different settings such as community projects, mental health services, charities, and individual therapists, from across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
The aim is to stimulate discussion and dialogue, and explore how we can support each other and consider what we can do to develop our sensitivity and understanding of this topic.
Seminar will include:
- A brief overview of the research and work in this area
- Delivery of psychosis support alongside spiritual, cultural and religious beliefs
- Presentation of ‘A Spiritual Roadmap’
- Q&A and discussion session
Seminar will be held in the Event Space within Hamilton House. Arrival from 6.00pm. Seminar will start at 6.30pm, and end at 8.30pm.
Refreshments will be provided (more food and drink available to purchase from The Canteen downstairs).
