Applications open for WEAHSN Healthcare Innovation Programme

Applications are now open for the second West of England Academic Health Science Network (WEAHSN) Healthcare Innovation Programme.

Following the great success of the first Healthcare Innovation Programme which ran in April 2015, the West of England Academic Health Science Network (WEAHSN) will be running the programme again in March 2016.

Applications are now open and must be submitted by Monday 7 December 2015. Register your interest for the programme and you will be sent an application form.

The programme is an intensive four day course open to healthcare professionals, health and life science academics, small businesses and public contributors.

It is focused on innovators with a clear business proposition or an innovative idea that has application in the healthcare sector. Applicants need to be passionate about taking their proposition forward and to commit to delivering it for their organisation.

Successful completion of the course gives an opportunity to apply for additional coaching and mentoring to support taking your proposition forward.

The course is a personal skills development course that gives an opportunity to learn core skills in entrepreneurship and develop skills in the areas of:

  • Building a business case
  • Customer analysis
  • Market analysis
  • Funding strategies

There are 20 spaces available for the participants in the West of England. The course is free of charge- an application and selection process will apply.
