REACT study launches

A new study called REACT (Relatives Education And Coping Toolkit) launches in March. The study is a free online peer-supported toolkit to support relatives and friends of people with mental health problems associated with psychosis or bipolar disorder.

A new study called REACT (Relatives Education And Coping Toolkit) launches in March 2016. The study is a free online peer-supported toolkit which provides information and support for relatives and friends of people with mental health problems associated with psychosis or bipolar disorder. The study offers the opportunity for friends and relatives of people with psychosis or bipolar to take part in research.

The aim of the study, which is from Lancaster University, is to test the effectiveness of REACT for reducing relatives’ distress and explore the costs involved in delivering this intervention.

Is this research for you?

Participants must be aged 16 years old or over,
have access to the internet, and be able to
understand written and verbal English.
Participants must not be currently taking part in
another research study.
