Spring Research Capability Funding call now open

The Avon Primary Care Research Collaborative (APCRC) spring Research Capability Funding (RCF) call is now open, with a deadline of 28 June.

This RCF call is for funding which will ring-fence time to prepare a grant application to the NIHR which will be hosted by Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group. This includes the time to write and submit an NIHR grant application, and can also be used for preliminary data collection, patient and public involvement, and research team building.

This time round, applicants have two options: to respond to the responsive or themed call.

Responsive call

You dictate the research topic. Tell APCRC if you have a good idea for an NIHR application related to primary care, public health, or community care.

Themed call

They are seeking applications which will assist in tackling the issues surrounding medicine waste. See the APCRC website for further information.
