17th May 2016
We are looking forward to our third annual Health Integration Team (HIT) conference on 17 June at At-Bristol Science Centre. The event is now fully booked, although we are operating a waiting list.
The HIT conference brings together our Health Integration Teams, the Bristol Health Partners Board and Executive Group, as well as other key people from the partnership and the city region. It will be attended by more than 130 academics, clinicians, commissioners, patients and others from organisations across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
This year’s agenda is looking very exciting, with addresses from David Relph, Director of the partnership, Board Chair Andrea Young, presentations from all our HITs, and a commissioning update from the local clinical commissioning groups and public health. A highlight promises to be the Bristol Health Partnerology walking game, where HITs are challenged to think of ways they could collaborate with each other.
Delegates can choose from workshops on evidence and evaluation, patient and public involvement, and effective engagement with commissioners. At lunch time we are offering one to one surgeries with a range of experts, on subjects including innovation,
commissioning, business case development, the National Institute for Health Research Collaboration for Leadership in Applied
Health Research and Care West (NIHR CLAHRC West), NIHR Clinical Research Network: West of England (CRN), West of England Academic Health Science
Network (AHSN), patient and public involvement, evaluation,
communications, the joint strategic needs assessment and more.
The event will also see the launch of the Bristol Health Partners 2015-16 annual review.
