People in Health West of England launch learning and development needs survey for public involvement

  • 4th August 2016

People in Health West of England (PHWE) want to hear from patients and the public who are already involved in health research, or are interested in getting involved, to find out what learning and development needs they have. The PHWE team have developed a learning and development needs survey for public involvement.

They would like to hear from members of the public who would like to get involved, or from patients, service users, family members or carers who are already involved as public contributors. They would also like to hear from researchers, research managers, health and care professionals and other staff who organise and support involvement activities.

The team are keen to know what you think should be provided to meet the learning and development needs for public involvement in the west of England. This area covers Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and most of Wiltshire.

You can complete the online survey which closes on Friday 16 September 2016. Alternatively you can contact Rosie Davies for a copy of the survey in Word format.

The responses to this survey will be used to think about how best to improve the learning and development programme for People in Health West of England. People in Health West of England is the joint patient and public involvement organisation for health research in the west, promoting innovative and effective public involvement in research and evidence-based service improvement.
