Research Capability Funding Spring 2017 call now open

Avon Primary Care Research Collaborative have announced their spring call for Research Capability Funding (RCF) applications. The deadline for applications is 3 May.

RCF is available to support the writing of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) grant applications. These awards can ringfence time for clinical, academic or commissioning colleagues to enable dedicated time to prepare a NIHR grant application.

Two options are available to applicants:

• Responsive call
  You dictate the research topic. Tell APCRC if you have a good idea for a NIHR application related to primary care, public health, or community care
• Themed call
  They seek applications which will assist in tackling the issues surrounding prevention and self-care. The application form, guidance and further information can be found on their website
