Professor Sarah Purdy becomes new Director of CLAHRC West

Professor Sarah Purdy, Head of the University of Bristol’s Medical School, is the new Director of NIHR CLAHRC West.

Sarah, who was Deputy Director in the CLAHRC’s early years, takes over from Professor Jenny Donovan who has gone on sabbatical to the US where she is developing her work on trial recruitment and applied research at Duke University.

We wish Jenny well with this and look forward to hearing about her time in the US on her return.
