Invitation to participate in a study on trans and non-binary people's experiences of eating disorders
15th September 2020
Researchers at the University of the West of England (UWE) would like to invite people to contribute to a study exploring trans/non-binary individuals’ experiences of eating disorders.
The study is open to anyone over the age of 18 who identifies as transgender or non-binary and self identifies as experiencing an eating disorder – participants don’t have to have been formally diagnosed to take part.
Participating in this study will involve an interview that will last for around 45 minutes – one hour that will be conducted over video-call or phone. It will be an informal conversation with questions focused on participants’ experiences of disordered eating and gender identity.
If you are interested in taking part, please contact the researcher, Simone Harding, who can provide more information.
