Our team welcomed two new members at the end of 2021 and start of 2022 as Connie Shiridzinomwa and Heidi Andrews joined as Senior Project Managers.
Heidi is with us two days per week, working with the Sexual Health Improvement Programme and Kidney Disease Health Integration Teams (HITs). She joins us on secondment from Healthwatch Bristol where she is involved in several projects, including supporting the Stroke HIT’s involvement in improving stroke services for people across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Connie has been working as a research nurse, most recently specialising in uro-oncology trials at North Bristol NHS Trust. She will be supporting five of our HITs over four days a week: Eating Disorders, Parkinson’s and other Movement Disorders (MOVE), Bristol Bones and Joints (BBJ), Psychosis and a new HIT focused on healthy weight.
Olly Watson, Bristol Health Partners Interim Chief Operating Officer, said:
“I’m delighted to welcome Heidi and Connie to Bristol Health Partners Academic Health Science Centre, as we move into another busy year. Their hands-on experience of working in different parts of our local health and care system – particularly with research participants and patient representatives – will be of huge benefit to the partnership and I’m looking forward to learning from them.”
