More than 150 delegates, including academics, clinicians and people with lived experience, joined Bristol Health Partners’ Psychosis Health Integration Team for its conference on 12 September 2023.
The event at the MShed Bristol, was a joint initiative between the HIT and the International Society for Psychological and Social Approaches to Psychosis UK (ISPS UK), and supported by the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board, and the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute for Health Research at the University of Bristol.
Its theme – Love, Patience and Kindness – explored different ways of working with psychosis, in the NHS, in the community and in private practice, and how we can support each other to improve services and experience across sectors.
The HIT would like to thank the speakers: Jacqui Dillon; Hanna van der Woude; James Robinson; Jess Pons; Simon Downer; Dorothée Bonnegal-Katz and Conor McCormack.
Many thanks also to Mary Robson from Durham University for her expert facilitation, and Sam Church for illustrating the event. See Sam’s illustrations
