Events in the region to mark World AIDS Day 2023 have been announced: see the full programme.
The programme – curated by Brigstowe, which is part of Bristol Health Partners Sexual Health Improvement (SHIP) HIT – includes the annual flag raising ceremony outside City Hall on 22 November along with the remembrance vigil at St James’ Priory on 1 December and celebratory event at the Watershed on 2 December.
HIV awareness training
Brigstowe is also running free HIV awareness training on Thursday 23 November, 10am – 12pm at Easton Community Centre. This is aimed at professionals supporting service users, people who provide colleagues with support (such as team leaders and HR), people involved in community groups or those who would simply like to know more about HIV.
