Life After Stroke – FREE monthly information and discussion sessions for people who have had strokes, their families, friends and carers.

Dr Amy Zarandi is a Clinical Psychologist working in a Stroke Neuropsychology team. The team provides a neuropsychology service across the One Stroke Pathway, with North Bristol NHS Trust, University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust and Sirona.

She will be talking about different aspects of cognition (thinking skills) and cognitive changes that can occur following a stroke. This will cover factors that can contribute to cognitive difficulties and how different thinking skills influence each other, for example, how attention and concentration can impact memory, sharing general strategies that can support individuals with cognitive difficulties.
