This FREE event is for health care professionals to support those individuals whose sight has been affected by stroke.

The day will bring together health care professionals working with people following a stroke. The event will enable delegates to learn and discuss from others how best they can support those individuals whose sight has been affected by stroke. You should leave feeling you have some knowledge base and tools to be more confident in addressing vision after stroke issues.

This study day is open to all registered healthcare professionals with an interest in stroke.

Topics will include:

  • Understanding how vision can be affected following stroke.
  • Demystifying the Opths!
  • Screening for visual impairment
  • Driving assessments

There will be plenty of opportunities to network and chat to others working in the field.

A vegetarian / vegan lunch will be provided.

Priority is given to those specifically working in stroke services.

The event is being organised by the Education and Training Workstream of the Stroke Health Integration Team (HIT)
