Many entrepreneurs find the NHS business landscape difficult to navigate, so the West of England Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) has created a training programme specifically addressing the needs of healthcare innovators. It covers the core skills in entrepreneurship, and has been developed in partnership with SETsquared, the global leading university business incubator.
An intensive four-day personal development course, the Healthcare Innovation Programme has been running since 2015, delivering high quality coaching, mentoring and personal development support.
Applications are now open for the May 2017 programme, and the deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 6 March.
The programme is open tohealthcare professionals, health and life science academics, small businesses and public contributors.
The course will provide:
an opportunity to make a compelling pitch to an experienced panel
a great way to network with like-minded innovators
a friendly environment to try-out your ideas
a chance to get continuing support from us to further develop your proposition.
There are up to 20 spaces available for the participants in the West of England. The course is free of charge, but an application and selection process will apply.
