  • 11th September 2015

NHS commissioners and local authorities in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire are launching a major new consultation on the future of children’s community health services in the region.

The consultation runs from 3 September and will end on the 25 November 2015. This is an opportunity to provide your views on the draft plan for community health services for children and young people. The views of children and young people, their parents and carers and other professionals involved in their care are being actively encouraged.

The feedback received will help to shape the design of services from 2017 onwards.

Next steps

  • When the draft plan consultation finishes, all of the feedback received will be considered and a report about the consultation will be published
  • Then, using the consultation results, the draft plan will be turned into the final plan
  • After this, the next stage of the project can begin: finding the organisation(s) to run and deliver the services

Further information and details of how to respond to the consultation are available.

Attend an interactive consultation event on 21 October.
