David Wynick becomes Executive Group chair

David Wynick, joint Research Director at North Bristol and University Hospitals Bristol NHS Trusts and Professor of Molecular Medicine at University of Bristol, has taken on the newly created role of chair of the Bristol Health Partners Executive Group.

David Wynick, joint Research Director at North Bristol and
University Hospitals Bristol NHS Trusts and Professor of Molecular Medicine at
University of Bristol, has taken on the newly created role of chair of the
Bristol Health Partners Executive Group. The role is designed to strengthen
links between the Executive Group and the Board.

Chair of the Bristol Health Partners Board and Chief
Executive of North Bristol Trust, Andrea Young said:

“The Board is working closely with the partnership’s Executive
Group to make sure we’re using this group’s considerable talents to best
advantage. Executive Group members are advocates for the partnership in their
organisations and they help the core team implement the vision for the
partnership. We want to augment this vital role. David Wynick, as chair of the
Executive Group, will be pivotal in helping us realise the potential of the
Executive Group.”

David Relph, Director of Bristol Health Partners, said:

“It’s great news for the partnership that David
has taken on this new role. I’m looking
forward to working closely with David during what will be a key period for the
partnership, as we look ahead and refresh the partnership agreement on which
Bristol Health Partners is based. David, and the rest of the
Executive Group, will be central to this process and I look forward to their contribution.”

David Wynick said:

forward to continuing the close and productive working relationship I have with
the other members of the Bristol Health Partners Executive and the Director
