Dr Emma Griffith is officially the new co-director for our Drug and Alcohol Health Integration Team (HIT).
Emma is Head of Therapies for Specialised Services and Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Dual Diagnosis at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. She is also an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Bath.
Emma joins fellow HIT co-directors Drs Jo Kesten and Tom May, Research Fellows at the University of Bristol, Julie Northcott, Deputy Director of Public Health at Bristol City Council, and a peer co-director with lived experience of drug and alcohol services.
She says:
“I am really excited that the Director role is now official, I am passionate about the work of the HIT and very much looking forward to what seeing what we achieve together.”
