As part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, Children of the 90s have
joined forces with the MRC National Study of Health and Development (the
1946 study), which is celebrating its 70th birthday this year, to make a film called ‘Across Generations’, which features
participants and academics from both studies.

The film highlights the importance of longitudinal birth
cohort studies and gives a face and a voice to the ‘hidden heroes’ who make our
research and findings possible.

The film was launched in London as part of the MRC Festival of Medical
Research and there will be a screening in Bristol later this year.
