New study seeks clinicians for interviews examining the impact of remote consultations on the workforce
29th November 2021
A new University of Bristol and NIHR ARC West study (the RECON project), supported by Bristol Health Partners, is examining the impact of remote consultations on the healthcare workforce.
Researchers are inviting primary and secondary care clinicians that have been involved in remote consultations to take part on a one-off interview. The interview can be conducted over the phone or an online video call.
The RECON project is investigating the impact of remote consultations on healthcare service delivery, working practices and staff wellbeing. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the use of remote consultations, but their implications are still not well understood. Understanding their impact is vital to minimise negative effects and harness the positives, to improve future implementation.
If you are interested in taking part or would like more information, please contact Dr Christalla Pithara-McKeown, [email protected].
