Research Capability Funding autumn 2017 call now open

Avon Primary Care Research Collaborative have announced their autumn call for Research Capability Funding (RCF) applications. The deadline for applications is 3 October.

RCF is available to support the writing of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) grant applications. These awards can ring-fence time for clinical, academic or commissioning colleagues to enable dedicated time to prepare a NIHR grant application.

Two options are available to applicants:

• Responsive call
  You dictate the research topic. Tell APCRC if you have a good idea for a NIHR application related to primary care, public health, or community care
• Themed call
  They seek applications which will assist in tackling the issues surrounding prevention and self-care. The application form, guidance and further information can be found on their website
