STITCH HIT shortlisted for Hearing the Patient Voice HEE award

The Improving Care in Self-Harm Health Integration Team (also known as STITCH) has been shortlisted in the Hearing the Patient Voice award as part of Health Education England’s Star Awards programme in the South West. The Star Awards recognise the very best in education and training across the health and care sector in the south west. They were set up to celebrate individuals and teams providing health and care services for NHS patients and service users.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 6 March 2018 at Somerset County Cricket Ground in Taunton.

“I am delighted that STITCH has been shortlisted for this award. It’s testament to the vital role people with lived experience of self-harm have played in the team and the projects we’ve worked on. We owe so much to Naomi Salisbury, Director of Self-Injury Support, and her team, who have contributed so much to STITCH.”

The shortlist includes several other nominations from the Bristol area, including North Bristol Trust, University Hospitals Bristol and Bristol CCG.
